08 Jan 2025 The year we proved Enterprise AI works. This is our rewind.
To the Avaamo community,
As we close out 2025, we want to thank all of you — our customers, partners, employees, and supporters — for being part of the Avaamo journey. This year reinforced something we’ve believed from day one: we’re still in the first inning of enterprise AI, and the real game is just beginning.
While the AI hype cycle dominated headlines in 2025, we stayed razor focused on solving what we call the 95% problem; the fact that most enterprise AI projects fail not because of technology limitations, but because they die in the last mile of deployment. When MIT research validated what we’d been saying all along, it confirmed that the inflection point isn’t about having more powerful models. It’s about solving the last mile: making AI work reliably, safely, and accurately in real business conversations where the stakes are high.
That’s what made 2025 different. We didn’t just talk about the problem. We proved we could solve it.
2025: from promise to proof
This year, we showed our customers the real value of Agentic AI.
Not in pilots or proof-of-concepts, but in production deployments handling millions of real interactions.
Scale: Our platform now powers over 5B conversations monthly across healthcare, IT, HR, and enterprise environments, with AI agents that don’t just respond, but take judgement intensive action.
Value: We’ve delivered over 500,000 hours in cycle time savings, achieving world-class NPS scores of 75+ in areas where customers engaged with Avaamo agents. Our customers are seeing up to 50% reduction in operational costs while improving service quality.
Industry recognition followed. We were named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape for Worldwide General-Purpose Conversational AI Platforms, but what matters more is why we earned that position, namely our ability to deliver AI that actually works in the enterprise.
AI agents that “actually” work
In 2025, we launched AI Agents—digital workers that don’t just answer questions but complete complex, multi-step tasks autonomously. Whether it’s automating the mechanics of scheduling a doctor’s appointment, onboarding new employees in 50 countries, or answering questions for harried travelers at one of the world’s busiest airlines, Avaamo agents performed reliably 24×7. This isn’t chatbot evolution; it’s a fundamental shift in how work gets done.
The Avaamo ecosystem
Building enterprise AI that works requires more than great technology—it requires a trusted ecosystem. This year, we strengthened our partnerships with industry leaders to make AI deployment seamless and scalable.
Our partnership with Wipro is bringing next-generation AI agents to global enterprises, transforming employee experience at scale across 50+ countries.
On the infrastructure side, our AWS Marketplace listing achieved AWS Foundational Technical Review approval, validating our security, reliability, and operational excellence. Healthcare organizations can now deploy our Patient Access AI workforce with streamlined procurement, consolidated billing, and the confidence that comes with meeting AWS’s rigorous standards.
We also introduced advanced Voice AI that delivers truly natural customer conversations in contact centers—because the future of customer service isn’t just digital, it’s conversational in the way humans actually talk.
Healthcare: Where AI meets humanity
Healthcare remained our proving ground for high-stakes AI. When accuracy, safety, and empathy are non-negotiable, you can’t afford the 95% failure rate.
This year we launched Avaamo Ambient, bringing specialty-intelligent support to pediatric care and other clinical specialties. We made our Patient Access AI Agents available on AWS Marketplace, addressing healthcare’s front office crisis at a time when health systems are struggling with staffing and patient access.
The validation came from our customers. Sentara Health, Medcan, and Deaconess Health System didn’t just adopt our technology, they made it central to how they serve patients. Our healthcare agents have now processed 150M scheduling appointments alone, saving our customers upwards of 100B!
Why this inflection point matters
We’re at a moment where the gap between AI hype and AI reality is becoming painfully obvious. Most organizations are discovering what we’ve known all along: deploying AI in production is fundamentally different from running demos. The last mile, ensuring safe, accurate, compliant conversations that integrate with existing systems and workflows, is where most initiatives collapse.
This is where Avaamo’s differentiation has never been clearer. While others chase benchmark scores and model sizes, we’ve built the infrastructure for AI that enterprises can actually trust. Our platform handles 200 legacy enterprise system integrations, maintains compliance across all critical regulatory frameworks, and delivers the guardrails that make high-stakes AI deployment possible.
The decade ahead
As we look toward 2026 and the decade ahead, we see the landscape shifting. AI agents won’t be novelties, but rather essential members of every workforce. The question isn’t whether AI will transform how we work, but whether that transformation will be trustworthy, equitable, and human-centered.
Building the next-generation Agents:
specific workflows and domains will dominate
We’re deepening our focus on making AI agents as reliable as they are powerful. You’ll see us expanding our agent capabilities into new domains, strengthening our partnerships with hyper-scalers and system integrators, and continuing to prove that enterprise AI doesn’t have to fail 95% of the time.
For our healthcare partners, we’re building specialized agents for clinical documentation, care coordination, and patient engagement that understand the nuances of medicine. For our enterprise customers, we’re creating agent workforces that can handle everything from IT support to financial operations to customer service.
We’re also investing heavily in AI safety and governance; not as compliance checkboxes, but as core product features. As AI becomes more autonomous, the guardrails become more critical.
A note of gratitude
