We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our sales organization and help accelerate Avaamo’s growth in the Healthcare and Enterprise AI markets. You will be responsible for generating qualified pipeline through targeted outbound outreach, inbound lead qualification, in close collaboration with the sales and marketing teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on curiosity, persistence, and connecting with business and technical leaders across the healthcare and enterprise space.
Objectives:
- Generate qualified sales opportunities by conducting high-volume outreach to targeted prospects at large enterprise companies across healthcare, life sciences, and other sectors.
- Research and identify key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts to drive new business conversations.
- Develop a deep understanding of Avaamo’s conversational AI platform and effectively communicate its value to potential customers.
- Partner closely with Marketing to execute vertical go-to-market strategies and hand off qualified opportunities to Account Executives for follow-up.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive pipeline data, activities, and notes within Salesforce to support forecasting and performance tracking.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for generating qualified leads, as well as meetings booked and amount of pipeline generated.
- Represent Avaamo’s brand in a professional, consultative, and customer-focused manner across all channels (email, phone, LinkedIn, events).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily outbound prospecting via phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate qualified leads.
- Respond promptly to inbound inquiries, qualify based upon set criteria, and route leads to the appropriate sales representatives.
- Research accounts to understand organizational structures, technology stacks, and current initiatives in digital transformation or patient engagement.
- Execute targeted outreach campaigns in coordination with marketing and sales leadership.
- Collaborate with Account Executives on account strategy, messaging personalization, and territory planning.
- Leverage tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo for lead management and prospecting efficiency.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics to continuously improve outreach effectiveness.
- Maintain a working knowledge of Avaamo’s AI solutions, use cases, and success stories to tailor outreach.
- Attend weekly pipeline reviews, team meetings, and training sessions to align with sales goals and develop skills.
- Contribute to building a culture of learning, collaboration, and customer-centric selling.
Requirements and Skills:
- 1–3 years of experience in sales development, business development, or lead generation (B2B SaaS preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage senior-level prospects confidently.
- Experience using Salesforce CRM and sales automation tools.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet or exceed pipeline generation goals.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn complex enterprise technology solutions.
- A proactive, self-starter mindset with resilience and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Healthcare industry experience or familiarity with digital health and AI technologies is a plus.
