We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Executive to join our sales team and drive revenue growth within the Healthcare vertical. The ideal candidate will have experience in enterprise software sales, a proven track record of exceeding quotas, and deep familiarity with the healthcare provider, payer and/or life sciences landscape. You will build trusted relationships with C-level decision-makers and help healthcare organizations modernize patient, provider, and member engagement through Avaamo’s conversational AI solutions.
Objectives:
- Drive new business opportunities and expand existing relationships within healthcare systems, payers, and life sciences clients across the Midwest or East Coast regions.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans that align with Avaamo’s go-to-market priorities and customer transformation goals.
- Understand healthcare operational workflows, pain points, and compliance requirements to position Avaamo’s AI solutions effectively.
- Collaborate with marketing, solution engineering, and customer success teams to deliver compelling demos, proposals, and business cases.
- Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate and complete data for forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM hygiene within Salesforce.
- Represent Avaamo at industry conferences, customer briefings, and thought leadership events to strengthen brand presence in healthcare.
Responsibilities:
- Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to close for accounts in your territory.
- Identify, engage, and nurture executive relationships with CIOs, CMOs, Chief Digital Officers, and innovation leaders.
- Conduct discovery sessions to uncover business challenges and map them to Avaamo’s AI solutions for patient access, contact centers, and digital front doors.
- Collaborate with solution architects and product teams to tailor proposals that demonstrate ROI and clinical or operational impact.
- Lead RFP responses, pricing negotiations, and contract discussions with support from solution engineering, legal and finance.
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing to develop targeted campaigns to drive qualified pipeline.
- Leverage Salesforce for pipeline tracking, forecasting, and activity reporting.
- Contribute feedback to marketing and product management based on customer insights and competitive trends.
- Maintain deep understanding of healthcare industry trends, digital transformation initiatives, and regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, HL7/FHIR, etc.).
- Uphold Avaamo’s consultative, customer-first sales culture and mentor junior team members where applicable.
Requirements and Skills:
- 7+ years of B2B enterprise software sales experience, with at least 3+ years selling into healthcare (providers, payers, or life sciences).
- Proven track record of exceeding $1M+ annual quotas and navigating complex enterprise deals.
- Strong understanding of AI, automation, contact center, or digital engagement platforms is a plus.
- Deep familiarity with healthcare buying cycles, decision-making processes, and procurement requirements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with executive stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple opportunities, and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Willingness to travel regionally as needed (~25–35%).
